1927 5'11" Steinway Grand Piano in flame mahogany with ivory keys. All newly rebuilt, refinished in lustre w/ genuine NY Steinway hammers, shanks, flanges and repetitions. Original soundboard in excellent condition with new pinblock, strings, dampers, decal etc. Stained in traditional Steinway mahogany (red-brown). All new brass hardware throughout. Legendary classic sound that only a 20's Steinway can produce. A stunner in and out.

STEINWAY Model S Teague Mid-Century Modern
This Classic, Mid Century Modern Steinway Model S (5'1") Serial #301993 Baby Grand Piano was manufactured in New York in 1940 and designed by Eames Era Designer, Walter Dorwin Teague one year after one for the New York World's Fair now housed in the auditorium of The Dept. Of Commerce in Washington, D.C. It is also featured in the Ronald V. Ratcliffe book entitled "Steinway" and listed in the Steinway Archives as sketch no. 1064- "Modern Look." It has recently received a musical upgrade: Was restrung, soundboard scraped and revarnished and the plate rebronzed. It was also regulated and tuned. The piano has a wonderful tone and is in excellent plus condition.
